Yo u n g at H e a r t
The Young at Heart Ministry is a ministry of fun, fellowship and spiritual nurture. They meet the first Thursday of every month at 11:15 a.m. Events vary from potluck lunches and games to day trips, dining out at new restaurants, and sightseeing. For more information, contact Don Lantz.
March Outing
A tour of the Harlingen Arts and Heritage Museum for the Young at Heart group was the highlight of the March meeting. Members relived the legends of the Valley as they viewed documents, portraits, and actual historic items.
The April meeting will be a tour of the Santa Anna Wildlife refuge south of Alamo. Those interested should sign up as soon as possible.
The tour includes a $3.50 charge for the tram and a movie. After the tour, we will share a Dutch treat meal at a local restaurant.
Mark April 17 on your calendar, and plan to be at the church parking lot by 8:00 am.
