The church complex, consisting of the sanctuary, fellowship hall, day care, youth center, and Sunday school building, is visible from Sunshine Strip (Business 77). Nearby land-marks are K-Mart, Sun Valley Mall, and Pendleton Park.
The city is growing just north of the church, and several new housing additions and apartment complexes have been built within two miles of Wesley. In addition, Lee H. Means Elementary school, the city's newest school, opened on Loop 499 in January, 2008.
